The Golden Oldies World Cricket Festival that was to be held in Harrogate UK from 11th to 18th August, 2024 has been cancelled.
There were not enough teams entering to enable the Festival to go ahead.
It was unlikely that CBC would have had the numbers to enter a team.
We await news from Golden Oldies Cricket regarding Festivals in the future.
The Club participated in a cricket tournament in Darwin in May, 2022. We were known as the Buffaloes. Four matches were played between 9th and 17th May, 2022. Our numbers were bolstered by some Hawkesbury H.O.C.S. players and a friend of Graham Doust. We finished with one win and three losses.

9/5/22 Curlews 8/126 (35.0) defeated CBC 9/125 (33.0).
10/5/22 Lorikeets 6/198 (35.0) defeated CBC 9/191 (40.0).
16/5/22 CBC 6/174 (35.0) defeated Cockatoos 5/138 (35.0).
17/5/22 Toads 8/237 (40.0) defeated CBC 10/124 (40.0).
